Welcome to Redwood Park Church
Everyone is Welcome.
Nobody is Perfect.
Anything is Possible.
The province of Ontario is currently in Step 3 of its re-opening plan, which include indoor church gatherings!
We are officially open for two Sunday services at 9:30am & 11:30am with all appropriate Covid protocols and capacity designations in place. For more details, check out our COVID-19 Updates page here.
Registration will open for the upcoming Sunday services on the Monday of each week. You can pre-register to attend through the Church Centre App or here!
We are committed to continue offering church online! For those that are not comfortable or unable to attend in person, staying connected online still provides a way for us to continue growing in our faith and encounter Jesus.
Every Sunday at 11:30am, you can head to our Redwood Park Church YouTube Channel to access a live streamed service. You can also find all of our previous online content, such as worship, teaching, and other important updates from week's past. Be sure to click "Subscribe" so that you never miss out on any of our posts and stay up-to-date! Invite your friends & family to tune in, as this is a great way to give someone a glimpse of who we are as a church and our love for following Jesus!
September 30th has been "Orange Shirt Day" since 2013. However, this year we are also honouring it as National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. As a community, we want to learn to walk well together with our Indigenous communities, to honour Residential School Survivors, and remember the children who never made it home.
Our Lead Pastor, Milissa Ewing, is encouraging us to wear orange shirts to the services on Sunday September 26, (at church or at home), as well as for Orange Shirt Day on the 30th. In an effort to help raise awareness, educate ourselves, and to honour this day, here are some suggestions for next steps:
1) Buy an orange shirt from an organization that supports Indigenous artists and whose proceeds go to the Residential Schools Survivors. Below are some local options:
2) Read the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Report here.
3) Take the free course "Indigenous Canada" by the Faculty of Native Studies at University of Alberta. Find info & registration info here.
4) Attend the Fort William First Nation Fall Pow Wow on September 30th or October 1st. Find full event details here.

We believe that we are called by God to make a difference in Thunder Bay and in our world. We believe that faith is a life changing and a life giving experience available to everyone. We believe Jesus calls us each to become fully alive and that knowing God and living our lives for Him is what we were created for.
The heart of our mission NEVER changes. We want to lead people into a life giving relationship with Jesus and embrace his call to make a difference in the world around us.
